~ 2009 Jeff Harnar Award for Contemporary Architecture.
    The award, funded and organized by the Thornburg Charitable Foundation, recognizes the best contemporary design in the State each year and provides a cash prize to the winning architect. A prize is not awarded if the jury feels that no work ranks high enough. In 2009, however, three designers shared the award.
