| has been managing projects for APS for the last two years. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, Mr. Pasión practiced in NYC for nine years with concentrations on the design & construction of Educational, Research, and Healthcare facilities. His projects ranged from hospitals in NYC, a cardiac hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, a Transplant Center and research facilities for Columbia U., having administered the design and construction of its first BL-3 laboratory, instrumental to the Northeast Bio-Defense Center for the study of Borna-Virus, SARS, and other emerging infectious diseases. A native of Honolulu, Mr. Pasión is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Architecture. He practiced with Architects Hawaii Ltd. and Urban Works, Inc.and operated his own firm for a number of years prior to his move to the 'mainland'. He also earned a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from Columbia University. He is a licensed architect in the states of Hawaii and New York. In addition to managing the design of the SWHS, Mr. Pasión is handling numerous other design + construction projects for schools in southwest Albuquerque. |
