Roldan Pasion, Staff Architect

has been managing projects for APS for the last two years. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, Mr. Pasión practiced in NYC for nine years with concentrations on the design & construction of Educational, Research, and Healthcare facilities. His projects ranged from hospitals in NYC, a cardiac hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, a Transplant Center and research facilities for Columbia U., having administered the design and construction of its first BL-3 laboratory, instrumental to the Northeast Bio-Defense Center for the study of Borna-Virus, SARS, and other emerging infectious diseases.

A native of Honolulu, Mr. Pasión is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Architecture. He practiced with Architects Hawaii Ltd. and Urban Works, Inc.and operated his own firm for a number of years prior to his move to the 'mainland'. He also earned a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from Columbia University. He is a licensed architect in the states of Hawaii and New York. In addition to managing the design of the SWHS, Mr. Pasión is handling numerous other design + construction projects for schools in southwest Albuquerque.
